City Sightings

This week has blown by. Even though we both worked a ton of hours, we managed to pack every spare second with fun this weekend.

Saturday we got to celebrate Amber's son, Sterling's, fourth birthday! He had an adorable batman themed party. All of the kids even got their own batman t-shirt as their party favors!

Later, we went to the first Texans' home game of the year! The Texans played the Saints. Texans won! Somehow, we even convinced my dad, an avid Saints fan, and Justin, a die-hard Ravens fan, to wear Texans shirts to the game. It was a great game.

Sunday we went to church and lunch with my family, and then headed back to the hotel to regroup before heading out again. That night we met up with our friends Bryan and Rachel for dinner at Bucca di Beppo, before going to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for a concert. At the concert, we saw Cam, Randy Houser, and Dierks Bentley. There was even a surprise visit from Kevin Fowler. We were all overjoyed that we "almost" touched Dierk's hand and that we got selfies with his "blur" as he ran past us. It really is the little things in life that count.

We had several city sightings this week. We are looking forward to even more to come!
